Terms of Attendance

All participants attending firearm classes MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO LAWFULLY OWN AND POSSESS FIREARMS (Federal, State and Local Laws).

NO LIVE AMMO IN THE CLASSROOM!!!!!

PARTICIPANTS:
-
MUST NOT be under indictment or information in any court for a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year
-
MUST NOT ever have been convicted in any court of a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could have imprisoned you for more than one year, even if you received a shorter sentence including probation

MUST NOT be a fugitive from justice
-
MUST NOT be an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance
-
MUST NOT be pregnant to receive training at Shelby-Safe Training, for the safety of you and your child
-
MUST BE over 18 years of age, or if ages 13-17, parent must attend and participate with student
WARNING: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.

MUST NOT have ever been adjudicated as a mental defective OR have been committed to a mental institution

MUST NOT have been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions
-
MUST NOT be subject to a court order restraining you from harassing, stalking, or threatening your child or an intimate partner or child of such partner
-
MUST NOT have been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
-
MUST BE a US Citizen for Instructor Classes or a US Citizen or Lawfully Admitted Alien Resident to attend Basic Classes

MUST NOT have ever renounced your United States citizenship
-
MUST NOT be illegally or unlawfully in the United States
NOTICE:
There are no refunds on any instruction classes however, you may transfer your registration fee to another student. If you are unable to attend a class, you are allowed to reschedule within 6 months. Failure to attend the second class date, will result in the forfeiture of any registration fees paid. EXCEPTION: If SST cancels a class, all monies will be refunded back to the student.

KATHLEEN ROBINSON / Shelby-Safe Training LLC shall not be responsible for injury, death, or damage to property resulting from either intentional or accidental discharge of firearms, or from its function when used for purposes or subjected to treatment for which it was not designed. KATHLEEN ROBINSON / Shelby-Safe Training, LLC will not honor claims involving personally provided firearms and ammunition, which result from careless or improper handling, unauthorized adjustment or parts replacement, corrosion, neglect, or the use of wrong caliber ammunition, or the use of ammunition other than high quality commercially manufactured ammunition in good condition, or any combination thereof.
